We first want to thank everyone that has stuck with us during the last couple of years. It has been rough for us with many hard life situations including deaths in the family, health issues, and losing friends. We have changed a lot and that is directly reflecting in our businesses.
Originally Those Meddling Mediums was going to be a channel that was a team of 7 people. With that in mind, Ryker and I wanted a channel just for the two of us that we could call our own. Which is why we created Haunted Smoke and Mirrors. Unfortunately, right after creating Haunted Smoke and Mirrors, Those Meddling Mediums went from 7 people to 2.
Many people still ask us today why we have two channels that seem to have similar content. Why not just combine it all into one? Well, that was the reason. Those Meddling Mediums was created for a team of people not just the two of us and continuing to try to run the business like nothing has changed is not sustainable.
So we have decided to combine Those Meddling Mediums and Haunted Smoke and Mirrors together. We starting trying to do that with our website and membership platform over on Fourthwall but the limitations over there is making it hard to run everything the way we want for memberships. So even though we have just moved our memberships over to our website, we have decided to convert back to Patreon.

We really appreciate those of you who have moved to the new platform and everyone that is supporting us while we are figuring out these new changes. Since we keep bouncing everyone around, we will be lowering the prices of the main tiers on our membership program here on Patreon as well as changing some of the benefits around. We also have a lot of people that love the YouTube Memberships and do not want to see those go. So we will be simplifying things over there to be more self-sustaining. So if you are a YouTube Member, you will get access to the badges, emotes and a few other benefits. However, if you want the most benefits, Patreon is the place to be.
Now we will still have both businesses. Those Meddling Mediums will still go on ghost hunts and Haunted Smoke and Mirrors will still record podcasts. However, instead of trying to maintain 2 channels, we are going to be posting these videos on Those Meddling Mediums. This will allow for more consistency in our content and less stress for us in maintaining that. We hope to create a new Ouroboros Productions Channel in the future where we can post all of our content in one place, but during our transition phase, we will be posting everything to Those Meddling Mediums.
This will be a step in the right direction to accomplishing our future goal of creating a fully functioning production company called Ouroboros Productions. Many of you have probably seen us use this branding, but step by step we will be moving towards this goal. You may have noticed that we changed this Patreon Page to be called Ouroboros Productions. We will also be switching our Instagram, Twitch, and TikTok pages to be under Ouroboros Productions as well. We will still have other platforms for the other businesses but we will be active on the Ouroboros Production Pages. This way you can follow us in one spot and get all of our updates across all of our businesses.
